📘 :The Revelation of Jesus Christ: The True Source of the Gospel
November 18,2024
KEY SCRIPTURES: Galatians 1:11–12; 2 Corinthians 4:5–6; 2 Corinthians 4:13; Ephesians 1:17–18; Luke 4:18–19
🔹 The Revelation That Births the Gospel
The gospel we preach has one unchanging source—the revelation of Jesus Christ. As Paul declared,
“I neither received it from man… but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
(Galatians 1:11–12)
This gospel does not originate from theological training, intellectual reasoning, traditions, or human ideas. Everyone who truly preaches Christ must first arrive at this same divine source—a personal unveiling of the Lord Jesus.
It is this revelation that moves us from knowing about Christ to knowing Christ Himself. From that place, we boldly declare,
“We believe, and therefore we speak.”
(2 Corinthians 4:13)
🔹 A Knowledge That Is Spirit and Life
This knowing is not sensual, emotional, or mystical. It is the Spirit-given conviction that turns the written letter into Spirit and life (John 6:63). Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus becomes alive, real, and active in our hearts.
When Christ is revealed in us:
He expresses Himself through our words and actions.
We preach Him to the brokenhearted.
We proclaim deliverance to the captives.
We announce sight to the blind.
We reveal His compassion and His authority.
(Luke 4:18–19)
The living Christ operates within us every moment, and His life finds expression through our ministry.
🔹 What Separates True Gospel Preaching
The revelation of Yeshua HaMashiach distinguishes our preaching from:
Human philosophies
Religious systems
Earthly authorities
Dead traditions
Our message is anchored in the living Christ—loving, merciful, Savior of the world, yet also the righteous Judge of the living and the dead (Acts 10:42). Knowing this, Paul said,
“Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.”
(2 Corinthians 5:11)
🔹 A Call to Personal Revelation
Dear reader, come into the revelation of Jesus Christ. When your eyes are opened to Him, every other thing becomes secondary. You will discover the fullness, sufficiency, and glory of Christ.
I pray,
“That the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened…”
(Ephesians 1:17–18)
in the mighty name of Jesus.
