This scenario depicts the devil's access to God's presence, where he voices his accusations against mankind. The Redemption Story However, with the coming of Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of mankind, the narrative changed. Jesus lived on earth, confronted the devil, and ultimately triumphed over him through the cross. The cross was not just a means of execution but a verdict that rendered the devil's power useless. The Victory of Christ Through His death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus took the key of death and hell, rendering it powerless. He ascended into heaven, leading captivity captive, and gave gifts to men. These gifts include apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, and evangelists to build up the body of Christ.
