🔥 The Touch-Not Anointing: A Covenant of Divine Preservation

November 1,2025

Scriptural Foundation: Psalm 105:13–15; Galatians 6:17; Numbers 22–24

When the children of Israel journeyed from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another, the Lord Himself became their Defender. The Scripture declares:

“He permitted no man to do them wrong; yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, saying, Touch not Mine anointed, and do My prophets no harm.” — Psalm 105:14–15

This profound statement captures the protective covenant of God over His chosen people during their wilderness journey. It reveals that divine anointing is not just for empowerment—it is also a shield of preservation. The rebuke of God became their invisible wall of defense, and kings were warned not to cross that line.

1. The Rebuke that Silenced Nations

The dealings of God with Israel teach us that divine covering is not limited by geography or circumstance. Even when Israel was weak or wandering, the Lord’s covenant stood strong. He did not allow any king or nation to oppress them without facing His rebuke.

Consider Balak and Balaam (Numbers 22–24). Balak, the king of Moab, sought to curse Israel through Balaam—a prophet who once had access to divine encounters. Seven altars were built, and sacrifices were made, but God intercepted every curse and turned it into a blessing.

“Nevertheless the LORD your God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.” — Deuteronomy 23:5

Balaam lost his prophetic office because of covetousness, and the timeless decree—“Touch not My anointed”—stood firm against him and his employer.

2. The People of Prophetic Grace

The Holy Spirit reveals that Israel, as a nation, carried prophetic identity:

“And would God that all the LORD’s people were prophets, and that the LORD would put His Spirit upon them!” — Numbers 11:29

The least among them carried a measure of divine unction. In like manner, every believer today shares in that same covenant through Christ Jesus. We are the anointed of the Lord, marked by the Spirit and sealed unto redemption.

“From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.” — Galatians 6:17

3. The Touch-Not Mandate for God’s People

To be anointed is to be preserved. Every child of God carries the “Touch-Not” seal—an invisible inscription of divine ownership that forbids destruction and demonic interference. The Lord still rebukes for your sake when you walk in covenant alignment.

As we step into this new month of November, may this divine seal speak over you and your household.

I decree that your home becomes a family of prophets, carriers of the Touch-Not Anointing. No hand of evil shall prevail against you. You bear the mark of Christ, and every curse spoken against you is turned into a blessing in Jesus’ name.

Happy New Month!
