Post-Resurrection Conferences: Evidence of Jesus Alive

August 11,2025

Let's compare scriptures in Acts 1:1-3 and 1 Corinthians 15:3-6, evidences of the conferences held after Christ's resurrection. What's marvelous in these scriptures is that Jesus, after resurrection, had a conference with a population of over 500 people in attendance (1 Corinthians 15:6). Wao! That was too much for a ghost or dead man! Standing before them, speaking things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

I think Jesus' coming after resurrection to teach the disciples about the kingdom of God was a deliberate action to make them know He is alive. He wouldn't be physically present with them but would be lifted up, and another Comforter (the Holy Spirit) would come into and upon believers (John 14:12), enabling them to do the works He did in greater measure.

That event has never been seen before in history - what a privilege for the disciples to partake in that! But we are His witnesses too because Jesus said it's better for us to believe without seeing like Thomas did (John 20:29). We're greater as we believe He rose from the dead and lives forever for us (1 Corinthians 15).

The gospel we preach according to Apostle Paul is that Jesus died according to the scriptures and He rose again according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). You must believe that we live forever because He lives.
