Son's Extended Life under the Father (S.E.L.F.)

The world lacked the life of God until the Son of God appeared. His way of life is beyond human comprehension due to the corruption caused by the fall. We often misunderstand righteousness, thinking that past good deeds can justify future wrongdoing. However, the moment iniquity sets in, one departs from the camp of righteousness.

Justification and Salvation
The Son's life is a gift of justification and salvation. Through His blood, we are justified, and through His life, we are saved from wrath (Romans 5:9). He sits at the right hand of God, and His life becomes our life. His resurrected life saves us, and His position in the heavenly places becomes our position.

The Function of His Present State
Have you asked yourself what the function of His present state is in your life and in the world? 

The 
S -Son's 
E - Extended 
L - Life under the
F -  Father

(S.E.L.F.) signifies that we are the extended life of the Son, under the Father's control and leadership through the Holy Spirit.

A New Identity
As believers, we are qualified to be called the beloved sons of God, in whom He is well pleased (1 John 3:1-2). May we live up to this identity and reflect the life of the Son in all we do.
