Putting on the Armor of God: A Guide to Spiritual Warfare

May 15,2025

Ephesians 6:14-18, John 14:6

As believers, we are provided with a complete armor to stand against the enemy's attacks. Let's examine each piece:

1. Truth: Stand firm with truth around your loins, just as our Lord is the Truth (John 14:6). Let no lie recide in you.

2. Righteousness: Wear the breastplate of righteousness, made possible by Jesus' blood, which makes us right before God.

3. Preparation of the Gospel: Have your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, enabling you to create a relationship with the Lord. Preparation means you are ready and bold because the Lord can point someone to you to discuss Him with.

4. Faith: Take the shield of faith, which comes from hearing and hearing the Word of God. Develop your faith by joining an assembly, listening to sermons, reading your Bible, and asking questions from senior believers.

5. Helmet of Salvation: Ensure you have an assurance of salvation. If you are not born again, invite Jesus into your life now.

6. The Sword of the Spirit: Have the Word of God in your mouth as a sword, acquired through personal studies and a relationship with the Lord.

7. Prayer: Engage in constant prayer in the Spirit, for being prayerless is to be lifeless.

Putting on the Armor
By putting on the whole armor of God, you'll be equipped to defeat the enemy. May God bless you as you stand firm in your faith.
