"How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!" - Isaiah 14:12

"Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." - Proverbs 16:18

The devil's present appearance is a reflection of his pride and rebellion against God. His beauty, once a glorious attribute, was corrupted by sin. As a cherub who covered God's throne, he was anointed with beauty and perfection. However, his pride led to his downfall, and his beauty was lost forever.

The darkness that covers the earth began with the devil himself. Sin entered his heart through pride, whereas for humans, it was through disobedience. A key difference between the devil's sin and humanity's sin is that the devil's was self-induced, while humans were lured by an external force.

It's essential to be mindful of the motivations behind our words and actions. Are we speaking with boldness in God or pride of the devil? The devil can disguise himself as an angel of light, but his instability will ultimately expose him.

"For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." - 2 Corinthians 11:13-14
May the Lord expose the devil's schemes and deceptions in our lives. In Jesus' name, may we be set free from the enemy's grasp.
