Forgiveness Beyond Senses
Being forgiven by God is not determined by our senses or emotions. The outcome of forgiveness doesn't rely on how we feel but on God's promise. As the Bible says, "God is a Spirit" (John 4:24), and He has given us assurance that "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).
Faith Over Feelings
Our believing is not based on dreams, physical health, or experiences but on faith. Whether we have good or bad days, God's forgiveness is not conditional on our circumstances. If we have received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are forgiven.
The Value of the Blood
The scriptures don't state that forgiveness is tied to specific experiences like healing or spiritual visions. Instead, our assurance comes from the fact that Jesus' blood was shed, and God accepted it as the eternal payment for sin (1 John 1:7). We are forgiven because of the value God placed on Jesus' sacrifice.
Living by Faith
Some believers pray for forgiveness daily, forgetting that forgiveness comes from God's acceptance of Jesus' blood, not from our prayers. The blood of Jesus enables us to emit the life of God, and as many as receive Him are given power to become sons of God (John 1:12).
