Reflecting God's Glory: The Power of Appearance and Grace

"You are addressed the way you dress." - Archbishop Benson Idahosa

This timeless saying emphasizes the significance of our appearance and its impact on how others perceive us.

As believers, we are called to be a royal priesthood and a holy nation, showcasing the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).

Our appearance speaks volumes about our inner state. As children of God, we should radiate love, joy, patience, and excellence, reflecting the marvelous light of God.

"The aim of salvation is that we internalize the life of God before it is externalized." This process involves allowing God's word and Spirit to work within us, transforming our lives and enabling us to express His glory to those around us.

To become effective witnesses, we must undergo a transformation, allowing the Holy Spirit to bring out the beauty and treasure of God uniquely within us.

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you." (Isaiah 60:1)

Will you allow God to do a work in and on you, transforming your life and enabling you to reflect His glory?

"Your glory will speak forth and will not be silenced." (Psalm 138:8, Isaiah 62:2-3)
